Mission Statement

The mission of Helix Therapeutics is to cure select genetic diseases using triplex-forming oligonucleotide (TFO) technology to introduce specific changes into the human genome. The technology is best suited for blood based genetic diseases due to the accessibility and ease of transplantation of human hematopoietic stem cells. Helix Therapeutics intends to exploit this versatile technology to achieve cures for diseases resulting from globin gene mutations and lysosomal storage disorders that result from mutations of various metabolic enzymes.
